Cosmic Kids!
Who: Birth – 8th grade
What: Ministry for kids with Special Needs. In this ministry, we partner your child with their own trained volunteer and, as a team, they will go into the developmentally appropriate room. We also have additional events throughout the year designed specifically for kids with special needs.
When: Cosmic Kids is available during every Wednesday and Sunday Celebrations at our Villa Rica Campus.
We officially launched Cosmic Kids in June of 2012 as a classroom. We had our first Egg Hunt and Carnival for Kids with Special needs in March of 2012 as our kickoff event. Cosmic Kids began as an idea as a ministry area for our church. We realized that in our area there are a large number of families that have kids with special needs and there are almost no other churches in our area that have ANY type of plan for these families. We started doing research with families and in public schools to see what we would need. That is how our journey began.
