Reach One Teach One is a non-profit organization that promotes effective communication and independent living skills within the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community.

Reach One Teach One has a mission to work with Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing individuals and their family members by educating them with the knowledge of sign language and independent living skills. Our mission is to eliminate frustration that often arises due to families not knowing how to communicate with their deaf family member. We will teach and provide all necessary materials needed to promote a healthy communication link within the family.

Reach One Teach One teaches members of the household starting at beginner, imtermediate and advanced classes 12 weeks within each level. After completion, the families will keep all materials that we use to enhance their skills which will include ALL the items in our learning package.

Reach One Teach One accepts families that are referred by different agencies, schools, or that match our requirements. We understand the importance of effective communcation, and offer the best support. We will offer the best facilitators to help carry out our mission.

Reach One Teach One provides professional American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services in various settings such as legal, educational, medical, entertainment, meetings and workshops to name a few. Learning tools are provided such as: flash cards, workbooks and DVDs that teach sign language to families who may have someone who is Deaf and Hard-of Hearing.

We will accept families that are referred by different agencies, schools, or that match our requirements. We understand the importance of effective communication, and offer the best support. We will provide skilled facilitators.  We are not an organization in competition, we are ONE on a mission!
